J. L. Matu has over 35 years experience in consultancy, ranging from the construction industry, telecommunications and management of significant international projects.
He has delivered projects in India, Middle East, Germany and Denmark.
As an expert consultant, he has worked for Ministry of Greenland; US Air Force; multilateral and bilateral organizations such as DANIDA and world-renowned architects in managing and completing projects in Europe, Middle East and Asia. Whilst he was the Director of SEAG (Scandinavian Engineers and Architects Group) and Director of Sales for CIC (Copenhagen International Consultants), J. L. Matu owned the overall financial and management responsibility for such projects.
J. L. Matu established JI Consultants Limited in the late 1980s and transferred technology (TOT) from Europe to Asia.
Since the 1990s, he has been a pioneer in the telecommunications industry – in his capacity as the Regional Director of TeleDenmark International and Country Manager for Telia International, he established Joint Venture companies in Europe and India. As a result of this, the Cell Phone Operator JT Mobile (JTM) was established in three financially lucrative states in India, with partners from England, Sweden, Thailand and India. J. L. Matu managed the teams from these partner companies to secure GSM licenses, essentially establishing JT Mobile from scratch.
